1. Agreement
These Terms form a contract between you and Website MOT for website inspection services and related offerings purchased through websitemotcheck.com.
2. The service
Website MOT provides a professional website inspection and written report based on the package selected (Essential, Professional, or Complete). Inspections are based on publicly accessible review of the website you submit, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Findings are advisory. They help you prioritise improvements; they do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, conversions, or revenue outcomes.
3. Packages & pricing
- Package scope and inclusions are described on the website at the time of booking
- Prices are shown in GBP
- Optional Same-Day Priority Service may be available for an additional fee
- We may update pricing or package details; the price confirmed at checkout applies to your order
4. Booking & payment
- Orders are placed through the website booking flow
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe
- We do not store your full card details on our servers
- A booking is confirmed once payment is successfully completed
5. Turnaround
Most inspections are completed within 48 hours of booking. If Same-Day Priority is selected, we will aim to complete within that accelerated window. For larger or unusually complex sites, we may notify you of a revised timeframe.
6. Reports & use
Your report is provided for your internal business use. You remain responsible for deciding which recommendations to implement and for any changes made to your website by you or third parties.
7. Book Your Fixes
- A £50 deposit can be paid to begin the fixes process
- The deposit is credited against the final agreed cost
- No fixed repair price is advertised because every website is different
- We review scope and agree the full price with you before implementation work starts
- Completed recommendations are verified afterwards as described on the website
8. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact details and the correct website URL
- Only book inspections for websites you are authorised to review or improve
- Ensure the website remains publicly accessible during the inspection window
- Respond promptly if we request clarification needed to complete your order
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Website MOT’s total liability arising from any booking is limited to the amount paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost traffic, or reputational harm.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to that order. Continued use of the website after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms for future bookings.
